...and with that, we’re off
Let’s make something together.
A - I die cut eight of the Heart Maze pieces from pink and white cardstock. I glued 7 of them together in a stack. I die cut the solid heart from a piece of pink cardstock and from a piece of clear acetate. I glued the stacked Heart Maze to the pink cardstock heart
B - I added pink shaker elements to the middle heart and made a small barrier from clear acetate to enclose them in the heart. I adhered the clear acetate heart on top of the Heart Maze sealing the shaker. I glued the last heart maze piece to the top of the maze
C - I tied a piece of ribbon into a bow around a piece of 5 1/4” x 4” black sparkle cardstock. I attached this to a piece to a 5 3/8” x 4 1/8” metallic red cardstock. I glued the cardfront to an A2 white cardbase and glued on the Heart Maze shaker to the left of the cardfront
D- I stamped the “You AMAZE Me” sentiment on a piece os metallic red cardstock with clear pigment. I embossed it withe Alabaster white and heat set it. I cut the semtiment and layered it on pink and white cardstock ...and the card is done
The Lost Without You card is simple to make. I love the characters you can make with the fun whimsy Making Faces die set. There are so many possibilities as you can see with the glasses and goté. I paired it up with the Amaze Me stamp set
A- I stamped out the maze stamp in pretty pansy ink randomly on a piece of 5 1/4” x 4” purple cardstock
B - I cut a piece of vellum to 5 3/8” x 4 1/8” i stamped out the Maze stamp and the ”Lost Without You sentiment on to light purple cardstock. I added a red heart to the middle of the maze. I also created one of the many faces from the Making Faces die set. Aren’t the glasses so darn cute?
C - I placed a piece of double sided tape in the middle of the vellum a attached it to the card front centering it.
D - I attached the vellum to the middle of the stamped maze cardfront
A, B - I added foam squares to the back of the purple stamped maze piece and attached it to the card front at a slight angle
C - I attached the fun face i created
D - I used a small dot of glue in each corner behind the vellum to secure the corners down an added silver brad to cover glue dots and add interest completing this card
My next project is the adorable gift card tag. Yes, it hold a gift card and has a pull tab you can add! This Zip Gift Tag die set will be such fun to create with!
A - I cut the tag from blue cardstock twice. One with the Star and Congrats die added for the front of the tag and the second with the Zip die added for the back of the tag. I die cut the star die twice more fro metallic red and white glitter cardstock. I glued white glitterstock behind the opening on the tag front and glued the small metalic red star in the middle of the blue star
B - I cut open the large white glitter stars to link it to the metallic red star and glued it on front. I added the remaining solid white glitter star to the front of the tag
C - I created another fun face from the making faces die set and added it to the front of the tag. I think this red headed boy with his hip glasses is adorable
To finish the tag I added foam tape leaving enough space in between to add the gift card and sealed it in between the tag front and back. I added ribbon to finish the tag
I also created a full on glitter Zip Tag! What I love about this dies set is you will find several inserts for all sorts of occasions giving you many options to create the perfect gift card Zip Tag
